Big Hawks BBQ Sauce

As the Co-Founder and CEO of Big Hawkins BBQ Sauce LLC, it was started to bring a great-tasting BBQ Sauce not just to my city and state but to the Country as a whole. The plan is to create a sauce that could go on everything from ribs, brisket, and chicken to fries, corny dogs, okra, etc.  Our barbeque sauce will command and dominate the market share with the top-selling BBQ sauces on the shelves right now.  Our motto is “We transform ordinary moments into extraordinary experiences”.

Big Hawks BBQ sauce started out as a hobby for a young man with a love for BBQ sauce and the need to want to create something new, fresh, and better tasting than what was currently out on the market. So, as they say, Big Hawks BBQ sauce was born.

As a father of 2 from Dallas, TX, Jevon Hawkins, started playing with the idea of making barbeque sauce back in 2009 after watching his dad, whose experience in making sauces started on the farms in East Texas. and father-n-law whose experience in making barbeque sauce originated from the Memphis tradition. The goal was to take both of their sauces and combine them into one sauce. The result is a barbeque sauce that is going to wake up your palette and have you saying “Wow, that’s really good!”.

Our motto is “We transform ordinary moments into extraordinary experiences”. Our sauce is all-natural with a nice blend of tomato ketchup, apple cider vinegar, honey, mustard, and herbs and spices, all while being gluten and fat free.

The decision to bottle and sell my sauce came via feedback from family, friends, and co-workers; all asking, “Where can I buy your sauce?”. I took some sauce to work, and my co-workers ate the whole bottle of sauce. From there, I started getting questions such as “When can I buy a bottle of your sauce?” As a result, I started bottling my sauce and selling it. People loved it; and they still love it!

The name, Big Hawks BBQ Sauce, is a way for me to pay homage to my family, to my dad, John Henry Hawkins, and to our family history of making great tasting barbeque sauce. It took many months to come up with the perfect name; and after months of brainstorming, Big Hawks BBQ Sauce was born on February 1, 2023.
